Doosan have launched two exciting new heavy duty additions to their popular 7-series range, with new 18-tonne & 25-tonne diesel truck. These will be showcased at the IMHX exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham later this year.

Both trucks come rated with a 1200mm load centre, ideal for heavy lifting applications, becoming the largest capacity forklifts Doosan have in production.

The trucks utilise Doosan’s latest Euro Stage-4 DL08P Engine, perfect for high capacity. The 7.6 litre 6-cylinder diesel engines are true powerhouses, offering maximum torque with a high power output for reliable and consistent performance within both difficult conditions and situations.

The engines are also more environmentally friendly, offering reduced emissions without the high maintenance costs associated with diesel particle filters (DPF). The new engines make use of diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) exhaust treatment technology and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system to reduce emissions by up to 90% compared to models currently available on the market.

As discussed in our recent Blog on diesel forklifts, the new 7-series diesel trucks offer a range of benefits to keep maintenance and operating costs low, while keeping productivity high. If you want to operate outside, diesel is the option to choose.
